Last Door to Offer Long-Term Addiction Treatment at Calgary’s New Recovery Community

Calgary, AB – This summer, Last Door Recovery Society will begin offering long-term addiction treatment in Calgary as part of Alberta’s fourth Recovery Community.

The new treatment centre is not open yet, but it’s coming soon. Please check back here for updates as we prepare to open our Calgary admissions office.

Join us for the Alberta Recovery Summit, hosted by the 9th Annual Recovery Capital Conference, taking place on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2025.

Drug and Alcohol Rehab at Last Door’s “Social Model” treatment helps clients gain information by “learning and doing”.  Stories of peer experiences, life choice anecdotes, along with metaphors and analogies, create the peer experience needed for residents to learn new behaviours.  This learning style is interactive and exciting! Clients hear successful stories from our huge alumni base about how recovery has overcome addiction issues in their lives are able to relate as they gain recovery experience in experience recovery in their daily lives.

Last Door’s Rehab Program provides a continuum of care that includes a mental health assessment, individual and group therapy, peer support, balanced diet and nutrition, recreation, positive socialization, family counselling, continuing care post-treatment, workplace reintegration and access to educational and employment opportunities.

Youth Addiction Treatment Services:

Specialized Services – We can help your teen recover from addiction. Your response, when you suspect drug or alcohol misuse, can make a significant difference in your teen’s recovery participation.
